Armordon® Plus
Armordon® Plus is a panel incorporating a flame retardant substrate which prevents the passage of the flame through the piece. This is important in thin sheets where complete penetration of the material must be prevented.
The panel is presented at 45° to a flame with a minimum temperature of 843°C flame, for 30 seconds. A 1.5mm Armordon® Plus panel passed the flammability requirements of FAR/JAR/CS 25.855(a) APP.F Pt.I(d)(2)(ii).
Armordon® FR
Armordon® FR incorporates a flame retardant additive into the tape during the extrusion process. The additive substantially reduces the risk of ignition and burn rate.
The panel of the fabric is presented to a horizontal flame with a minimum temperature of 843°C flame, for 15 seconds. A 1mm Armordon® FR panel passed the flammability requirements of FAR/JAR/CS 25.853(a) APP.F Pt.I(a)(i)(iv).
